Directions to Baha’i Sunday School
in Monmouth County
updated 3/12/05
Here are directions to the new “Program Activity Center” at
Camp Sacagawea Girl Scout Camp.
Address: The official street address for the Program
Activity Center is: 127 Yellowbrook Road, Farmingdale, NJ 07727. If you have been to Camp Sacagawea before,
note that the entrance to this building is NOT the same as the entrance off
Route 524 (Adelphia Road) that you may have used for meetings at the “Lakeside
Cabin” or the “Pocahontas Yurt”.
Online maps: You can find accurate maps to the site
at both Yahoo and Google.
(Click on either hyperlink to get an online map and/or custom directions
to this site.)
Parking: Park along central meridian, or on asphalt
“pad” on the right. Or, if you have
stuff to unload, you can pull up to the covered porch on the left side of
building.

From Holmdel area via Route 34:

Marine.)
- Go
about a mile. (This road becomes
Asbury Road while you are on it.)
- Turn
right on to Cranberry Road. (This
turn is a little difficult to see as there is a very high, thick hedge on
the right just before it. When you
pass Megill Road on your left, slow down and take your next right.)
- Go
about 2.2 miles until Cranberry Route “tees” at Yellowbrook Road.
- Turn
left on Yellowbrook, proceed about ½ mile.
- Turn
right at green “Girl Scout Council” sign, just after the water tower.
- On
your return trip: Cranberry Road tees into Asbury Road; turn
left. Follow this back north to
Route 34. Cut across the
southbound lanes to the “turnaround” in the median to get to the northbound
lanes. Turn left to go north, but
immediately move right and fork to the right to stay on Route 34.
From East Brunswick
area via Route 18:
- Take
Route 18 south to exit 22A, Route 537 east towards Colts Neck.

about 3 miles to light at Route 33 Business.
- Turn
left on Route 33 Business.
- Go
about 2.1 miles
- Turn
right at Yellowbrook Road (just after “Wreck-O-Mend” auto repair on your
right)
- Go
about a mile and a half.
- Turn
right at green “Girl Scout Council” sign, just after the water tower.
- On
your return trip: Once on Route 33 west, the road splits to a highway
and business routes. Bear right to
stay on Route 33 Business. Proceed
to light just after Wawa and turn right on to Five Point Road north. When that “tees” into Route 537, turn left,
and find entrance to Route 18 just ahead.

come to a rather awkward traffic circle where Route 33 meets Route
34. You need to continue on Route
547 (Asbury Road) south toward Farmingdale, which is
“straight across” the circle from where you enter it. (You’ll pass between
Olympic Airport Shuttle and Sunbird RV.)
- Continue
on Asbury Road – about a mile – until it “tees”.
- Turn
left. (It’s still called Asbury
Road after the turn.)

difficult to see as there is a very high, thick hedge on the right just
before it. When you pass Megill
